About PoliDNA

PoliDNA is a multidimensional political profiling site. It does not collapse you into a single left/right number, and it does not tell you which party to join.

What you get

You answer a questionnaire at your own pace. A deterministic scoring engine turns Likert answers into 0–100 scores on independent dimensions (economy, liberty, institutions, foreign policy, and so on — each quiz defines its own axes). Those scores are then compared to interpretive profiles written for that quiz version.

The honest wording is always: your answers most closely match a profile. That is similarity, not membership, diagnosis, or a prediction of how you vote.

You can stay anonymous. After a completed result you may Save My Profile with a 5-letter PoliDNA ID (a real English word) and a password you keep. There is no email, and we cannot send a reset. Incomplete drafts also require that profile first — we do not silently create empty accounts.

A master political map on My PoliDNA mixes comparable axes across quizzes (same dimension slug, latest attempt per quiz). Country-specific axes — for example Iran-Now “system legitimacy” — stay on their own ring. They are not averaged into global “free market”.

What this is not

  • Not an academic validation study, and we do not claim university partners, staff headcounts, or grant numbers.
  • Not a newsroom, party, or campaign tool.
  • Not a public social network. There is no member directory and no public profile URL.
  • Not a voting-advice application. Charts are descriptive of this questionnaire, not a ballot recommendation.

How AI is used

If AI is enabled, it may explain your combination of scores and, on some items, apply bounded free-text nudges (typically ±2 on listed dimensions). It must not invent Likert scores or rewrite the engine. If AI fails, your charts still appear — you can try analysis again. Optional “own words” context is always stored even when the adjustment is zero.

Languages

English is primary. Persian (فارسی) is enabled on the five seeded quizzes, with true RTL layout, translated stems, Likert labels, chrome (Previous / Next / Finish / Cancel / Save draft), dimensions, bands, and profiles. The experience should not mix English mid-quiz when you chose فارسی.

Versioning

Results stay bound to the quiz version you took. Material scoring or question-set changes publish a new version (for example v3.0 after v2.0). Historical results are not recalculated.

Support

Optional donations help hosting and development. You can add multiple named public wallets (same coin, different networks). Private keys are never stored. Donations never change scores.
